•  Who is eligible to attend the show?
The Namta show is open to the art materials trade. Attendees include retailers and dealers interested in seeing and purchasing artist’s materials from manufacturers, importers, publishers and distributors.

Please note:
Member non-exhibiting suppliers are eligible to attend, however non-exhibiting suppliers are prohibited from selling on the trade show floor, registration area, or any Namta social event.

•  How can I exhibit?

•  What is the cost to attend?

  • Namta Member
    • Member Benefit - FREE

  • Not a Member
    • Retailer NOT-a-Member - $850 per person
    • Supplier NOT-a-Member - contact Namta
      • Non-member badges are per/person and are for all 3 days of the show
      • Non-members badges registered as a Namta member company will be voided
      • Notification of voided badge status will be sent to registrant by email

•  How can I join Namta?

•  How do I register for a badge?

•  Namta show badges are printed on white paper. What do the badges printed on bright colorful paper mean?
Badges printed on bright colorful paper mean they are a New Member.

•  Why should I register in advance?

  • Advance registration is free for Namta members
  • Onsite Registration fee can be $30
  • Onsite registration can take longer than just picking up your badge

•  Will I receive my badge in the mail after I submit my advance registration form?
No. Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation via mail, email. The confirmation will reference any tickets purchased. Please bring the confirmation with you to the registration desk at the show to claim your badge and tickets.

  • Altering, or lending your badge to anyone, is strictly prohibited.
  • Retail/buyer attendees are not permitted to wear badges issued to exhibitor members.

•  Will I need to show identification when I come to the show?
You may be asked to present proof of employment with a company involved in the art materials industry. Acceptable forms of company identification include:

  • Company business card with your name on it
  • Driver's license or personal credit card
  • Company insurance card or ID with employee and company name
  • Company credit card with employee and company name

•  Where is the 2020 Host Hotel?

•  Will Namta provide a Shuttle from the Host Hotel to Navy Pier?

•  Will I be able to bring my child to the show?
No. Due to safety concerns and the business environment of the show floor, no one under the age of 16, including infants, will be permitted in the exhibit hall or left unattended in the Namta Registration area.

•  Who is not eligible to attend the show?
  • Consumers
  • Artists
  • Any company or individual not involved in the art or creative materials trade
  • Non-exhibiting suppliers intending to sell on the trade show floor, in the registration area, or at Namta social events
  • Suppliers to the exhibitors
  • Any company or individual looking to sell their services to exhibitors
  • Infants and/or anyone under the age of 16 will not be permitted in the exhibit hall or left unattended in the Namta Registration Area

•  Are cameras and/or video recording devices allowed on the show floor?
  • No. Many of the new products displayed at the show are prototypes. To protect the rights and interests of our exhibitors, written permission is required prior to taking any photographs with any form of equipment including camera, digital camera, video equipment, and cell phones. Permission may be obtained at registration. All security personnel are aware of this rule. Violators run the risk of having their equipment confiscated and ejection from the show floor.
