How Will the Virtual Tradeshow Work?

Will there be a trade show in Chicago this year?
No, the Virtual show will replace Chicago.

Why is Namta's Art Materials World co-locating with AFCI's Creatavation+?
Both Associations have had to cancel in person trade shows for 2021. In an effort to help provide the best virtual experience possible, we believe co-locating will provide both members with:

  1. More products for our retailers to browse and buy for their stores
  2. Expanded exposure for exhibitors over a longer runway
  3. More potential partnership opportunities between designers, digital content creators, suppliers and store owner
  4. Additional educational and networking opportunities

Who is AFCI?
AFCI is the Association for Creative Industries and Creativation+ is AFCI's virtual tradeshow for 2021.

Namta Art Materials World attendees - can they also attend AFCI's Creatavation+?
Yes - 2 shows in 1- for both show's attendees!

Do Attendees have to sign up for Seminars when they register?
You don’t need to sign up for sessions when you register. Once you get access to the virtual platform, you will be able to add sessions to your personal agenda and attend any session you want.

Do Exhibitors have to register?
No - it's part of the Booth Package. Contact Rick Munisteri with questions.

What about Independent Representatives - how do they register?

Why is Virtual a good thing?
Going virtual eliminates all expenses for travel, lodging, entertainment and meals, while still offering you the opportunity to have safe access to a trade show floor full of exhibitors, over 50 hours of education sessions, and networking opportunities.

How long is the Tradeshow Available once it ends?
The show is taking place March 15-19, 2021 but after you are registered, the booths and sessions will be accessible to view for up to 3 months after the event.

What is Matchmaking?
Registered attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the matchmaking features of the platform that will help ensure you are directed to the Exhibitors that are offering exactly what you’re looking for. Stay tuned for details

Will there be Virtual Tradeshow Training?
Namta will notify registered Attendees - by email - about upcoming training sessions to help familiarize yourselves with the platform prior to the show.
